Managing director of Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra announces an audition for

English horn player with obligation of 2nd oboe full-time employment

The audition will take place at Janacek Philharmonic headquarters

on 3rd September 2019 at 2pm

a) orchestral parts - English horn - 1st round:

English horn cadenza

b) orchestral parts - 2nd oboe - 1st round:

A. Dvořák:                 Symphony No. 7

Violoncello Concerto

Slavonic Dances

J. Brahms:                 Variations on the theme by Joseph Haydn

c) an obligatory performed composition for the English horn for the 2nd round:

F. Mendelssohn – Bartholdy:    Songs without words (Lieder ohne Worte)

Op. 30, No. 7 (arr. D.  Walter)

d) an obligatory performed composition for the oboe for the 2nd round:

W. A. Mozart:              Oboe Concerto in C major, K.314 – 1., 2. movement

Salary: 10,400 - 15,600 EUR gross pro rata depending on previous experience
